Computer

Space Mafia and the cross-server telephone — a Discord bot.

Your Discord server just got a little more interesting.

Play Space Mafia with your friends, or pick up the telephone and connect with people across Discord servers.

Computer is a single bot that does two very different things. In one channel it runs a social-deduction voyage — impostors stalk the corridors, crewmates do tasks, and meetings unfold in everyone's DMs. In another channel it installs a jack: a telephone line that lets your whole server talk to a different server, like a party line from 1999.

Space Mafia

An Among Us-style murder mystery. The lobby is in a channel — the game happens in your DMs.

  • Impostors kill, vent, and sabotage; crewmates do tasks and report bodies.
  • Discussion rounds and voting menus open in every player's DMs.
  • Special roles appear as the ship fills — Scientist, Engineer, Sheriff, Jester and more.
  • House rules are configurable: kill cooldowns, walk speed, tasks per crew, AI chatter.
  • Optional AI bot players fill empty seats and argue like the real thing.
  • Play across servers: /mm queue gathers a crew from anywhere the bot is — see the matchmaking guide.

Telephone

Dial a whole server, at a brisk 56,000 bps. Your channel is wired to theirs until somebody hangs up.

  • Call, answer, get a busy signal, or end the call — just like a real line.
  • Ring a listed server, dial 911, or spin the party-line roulette.
  • Call-waiting beeps, voicemail tapes, transfers, speed dial and a conference bridge.
  • Admins set do-not-disturb, block lists, trust lists and safety filters.
  • A public Phone Book lists servers that opted in.

Wiring it into your server

  1. Add the bot. Use the Add to Discord link. Grant Manage Webhooks if you want the full-name telephone experience (see permissions).
  2. Start a game. In any channel, run /sus new. Players press join, the host stacks bots with + bot, then presses begin.
  3. Wire the phone. A consent card is posted when the bot joins. An admin clicks I AGREE, then runs /phone register channel:#jack to pick the line.
  4. Open the control panel. /setup shows the whole house: wire or delist the jack, toggle filters and DND, and grab the vote link.

This panel is a static sample. It is not connected to live telemetry and must not be read as real status. A real status feed would require a secured backend endpoint.
